Non-inactivated waste from plants or plant material infected with plant pathogens


1. Definition

Microorganisms pathogenic for plants.

2. Risk

Dissemination of plant pathogens due to infection of host plants in the environment.

3. Biological substances not to be transported

The SECB recommends not to transport waste of cultures of plant pathogens.

In addition, the SECB recommends not to transport waste containing plant-pathogens across borders.

  • No name
  • No number

5. Permits (CH, import, export)

Preferably not to be imported/exported.

6. Packaging

  • Rigid, leak-proof, break-proof packaging, permanently closed, with, if applicable, sufficient absorbent material included to absorb the entire amount of liquid present (if applicable) and the packaging is capable of retaining liquids.

7. Labelling and marking

  • name and address of consignee
  • name and address of sender

8. Transport documents

Delivery note

  • name and address of sender and consignee
  • name of plant pathogens
  • "zur Verbrennung" / "pour incineration".
